an old 50's split-window.
im not a bug expert, so perhaps any resident bug pros can enlighten me as to the model. i do recall him saying that this was the rarest model of split-window beetle produced, it had the smallest production run.
all restored and original - even had signal lights that popped out from the side of the door to flash, lol.
anyways, posting this because how 'vintage' it turned out.

Very vintage. Difficult to tell the model, but my guess is, if it is as you say a 50s bug and a split window, then its probably a 1200cc. The turn signals on these werecalled semaphores

oh this one kills me..congrats.. right a rear model..must has an 1100 CC and almost 40 HP engine..fabulous.. I wish I could see the rearward and interior..
